Dr Fiona Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School. She is primarily interested in how information facilitates firms’ management of human capital resources to achieve desired performance outcomes. Her research focuses on firms’ design and implementation of employee incentive and evaluation systems, practices enhanced by data-driven technologies, as well as informal management controls such as corporate culture and benefits plans.

Her research involves using archival data, surveys, and field-based evidence to gain a deeper understanding of issues relevant to decision-makers and to provide practical implications. She earned her PhD in Business Administration and Master of Accounting from the University of Southern California. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked as an auditor at Deloitte in San Francisco.
