BIO

I am a Lecturer and Co-Director of the NUS FinTech Lab at the National University of Singapore. My work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, digital governance, financial technology, and organisational design.

My research examines how emerging technologies are evaluated, governed, and integrated into organisations and markets. Current projects focus on agentic AI governance, AI evaluation under uncertainty, agent memory, blockchain-enabled infrastructure, digital finance, and computational research methods. I also work closely with students, researchers, industry partners, and public-sector organisations to translate research into practical systems, policy insights, and educational initiatives.

My academic work combines research, teaching, student supervision, and industry engagement across AI governance, blockchain, FinTech, and digital transformation.

My current research programme includes work on machine-native web infrastructure, agent memory governance, instrumental convergence, frontier AI evaluation, computational grounded theory, blockchain-enabled environmental assurance, and digital financial infrastructure. I supervise undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral research and contribute to international research, policy, and industry collaborations through the NUS FinTech Lab.

In teaching, I design applied courses that connect technical concepts with organisational, ethical, regulatory, and strategic questions. My courses emphasise hands-on analysis, real-world cases, project-based learning, and engagement with practitioners.
