Dr. Liyao Yu is a plant ecophysiologist working on the project 'Examining The Structural and Physiological Changes of Vegetation in Tropical Asia'. He has been conducting experimental and modeling research on the impact of environmental/abiotic stress on leaf traits in Singapore, Japan, and China. His expertise and research interests are about the process and dynamics of photosynthesis using approaches of leaf-level gas exchange, chlorophyll fluorescence, biochemistry, and ecosystem flux analysis.
