Dr. Wong is actively involved in medical education for undergraduates and postgraduates as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He served as the Deputy Director of Assessment for the Department of Medicine from July 2021 to 2023; and was the Chief Clinical Convener for the Phase V MBBS Short Case Clinical Examinations from AY 2021 to 2023. He was also a Core Faculty member of the National NUH Post-Graduate Year-1 Programme from 2021-2023. He was awarded the NUHS Teaching Excellence Award in 2022.
