Roland Schwinn is an investor, advisor and board member of several reputable companies in finance and digital assets. He is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Prior to that he served as a board member of the Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX), the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and Sygnum Singapore. In his past career Roland was a Managing Director of Sygnum Bank,  CEO of Eurex Clearing Asia and Head of Asia for Eurex, the derivative platform of Deutsche Boerse Group.

As a research fellow at SMU (Singapore Management University) in 2015-2016 and later as a Fellow of Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), Roland has been an early adopter of DLT technology. His research focus is on Fintech, blockchain protocols, tokenisation of assets, decentralized finance (DeFi), Metaverse and Web 3.0.
