BIO
I am Research Fellow at the Centre for Trusted Internet and Community (CTIC), National University of Singapore. In my current role, I investigate the challenges associated with the governance of digital information in the age of mis-, dis-, and mal-information.
Broadly, my research examines policy design at the intersection of digital technologies, urban environments, and inclusive development. More specifically, I am interested in understanding how governments manage the challenges associated with adopting advanced technologies and increased involvement of technology companies in smart cities.
My peer reviewed articles have appeared in Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Sustainable Cities and Society, and npj Urban Sustainability among others.
Previously, I worked for several years as an architect and urban planner. I have an undergraduate degree in architecture BESU, Shibpur, India (Now IIEST) and a MSc. in Urbanism from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. I completed my PhD in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), National University of Singapore (NUS) in December 2024.
