BIO
Hsuan-Che (Brad)'s research applies psychology, management, and interdisciplinary theories to understand when, why, and how people (fail to) recognize and respond to injustice. He approaches this broader inquiry across three related domains: (1) interpersonal injustice arising from relational and ethical dilemmas governed by moral norms, (2) social injustice within workplace allyship and diversity initiatives, and (3) emerging injustice in organizations including artificial intelligence (AI) harm and transparency as well as inequality in creative performance amid technological
innovation.
He has won several best paper, dissertation, and reviewer awards from Academy of Management (AOM), International Association for Conflict Management (IACM), and Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP), among others. His work has been published in leading journals in management (e.g., Personnel Psychology), psychology (e.g., Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin), and general science (e.g., Nature: Human Behaviour), with practical implications for public policy (e.g., Behavioral Science & Policy).
