BIO
Tiange Ye is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School. His research interests lie at the intersection of Financial Intermediation (e.g., insurers, mutual funds, ETFs, private equity), Credit Markets (e.g., corporate bonds, syndicated loans, private credit, mortgages), and Asset Management. The overarching theme of his research is to understand the behavior, preferences, and incentives of nonbank financial institutions (NBFIs) and how they shape outcomes in financial markets.
Tiange’s research has been published in the Journal of Accounting Research, and he has presented his work multiple times at leading finance conferences, including the AFA Annual Meeting, SFS Cavalcade North America, NBER, FIRS, and EFA. His work has received best paper awards from the China International Conference in Finance, the Colorado Finance Summit, the Eastern Finance Association, and INQUIRE Europe.
He earned a Ph.D. in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Prior to his Ph.D., he obtained an M.A. in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University and a B.S. in Business and Finance from New York University.
