BIO

Tina Tin is a clinical psychologist with close to two decades of experience across public healthcare, military, and forensic settings in Singapore. She has worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties, while also contributing to psychological assessment, mental health education, professional training, and research. 

 

Her teaching and clinical work are informed by a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Her professional interests include social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, dissociation, gaming and life balance, the psychology of introversion, and women's sexual wellbeing.

 

As an educator, Tina enjoys helping students connect psychological theory with the realities of clinical practice. She is committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and reflective practice, while equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to apply evidence-based principles in their future work.
