Hwang Wei Song is Curator of Entomology and Senior Lecturer at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, National University
of Singapore (NUS). His research work includes improving insect biodiversity knowledge through species discovery and creating better access to species information, especially for Singapore and Southeast Asia. He specialises in True Bugs (Hemiptera), particularly the predatory assassin bugs (Reduviidae). As an educator, Wei Song teaches for the NUS College and mentors students, interns and anyone who is interested in insect biodiversity, museum curation and science communication.
