Dr Weina Zhang is the Associate Professor of Finance at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School. She is also the Academic Director of MSc in Sustainable and Green Finance Programme and the Deputy Director of Sustainable and Green Finance Institute (SGFIN) at NUS. She obtained her Master of Science and Ph.D. in Finance from Kellogg School of Management at the Northwestern University, USA.
She currently teaches courses such as Sustainability and Finance and Sustainable Investment at the master's and undergraduate's levels. She also teaches lifelong learning modules and conducts executive trainings in the related areas.
Her current teaching and research focuses on sustainable and green finance, fixed income securities, asset pricing and investment. She examines how socially responsible actions of corporates are priced in international financial markets. She examines the pricing and informational efficiency in various financial markets and explores the pricing and economic impact of government policies on financial instruments in emerging economies.
Her papers have been published in many leading finance and economics journals. She has also published many textbooks and teaching cases. She serves as the reviewer for many premier finance and economics international conferences, academic journals and research grants. She is a recipient of many best paper awards and teaching awards.
